Comprehensive Coaching program
What are the concerns?
It is deeply concerning when children do not have the necessary life skills to thrive in adulthood, as this can lead to a sense of helplessness, insecurity, and fear of the future. Without these skills, they may struggle to navigate the challenges of daily life, find meaningful employment, form healthy relationships, and make positive contributions to society. This can result in a cycle of poverty, low self-esteem, and even mental health issues, which can have a profound impact on their overall well-being and future prospects.
Transitioning out of care can be overwhelming for young people, especially for those who have spent a significant amount of time in foster care or group homes. Challenges that may arise during this period include lack of support, financial instability, housing instability, mental health and emotional issues, lack of life skills, educational and employment barriers, and social isolation. These challenges can hinder their ability to function independently, limit their prospects for the future, and negatively impact their mental health and well-being.
It is crucial that we invest in our children’s education and development, to ensure that they have the tools they need to succeed and lead fulfilling lives.
